Group statement

In this particular project Eva and I wanted to combine efforts from the beginning to the end, the way that we planned to complete this project was to work on the models from the beginning to the end. Even though Eva and I are doing different topics, Eva chose to do matinee and I choose Kismet. Our only problem was that member of our group dropped out and so we couldn’t attempt to do the particles part.

The game that we chose was snakes and ladders, in our planning stage we wanted to have elements of the traditional game of snakes and ladders. Such as, the primary colours, of yellow, green, blue and red. At the end we changed our game plan and instead of having the ladders we had moving platforms in the game. The sort of themes that we wanted to have in our environment was like china town but an old and busted looking building.

By the end of the project we had gone through a few problems but in the end it worked out and we learnt a lot about the program and most importantly how to manage our time effectively, being in a group.

Hypothesis for Explosion

The experiment that i will conduct will be based on the first you tube explosion that was chosen. My experiment will focus on the notion of the explosion being well timed and synchronised along with it being visually striking.

Explosion

The reason why this explosion interested me so much was because it was very visually striking. The use of vibrant colours helps the visual effects seems Non-virtual. Also the idea of each of the explosions detonating after one another, making it seem orchestrated and well timed.
